Zoya Matte: Posh

I decided to do a matte after the super bling manicure I had! This is Zoya's Posh and matte sure can be tricky to apply! Gotta be quick before it dries! So I did my best and this is what it looks like:

Reminds me of Manglaze's Fatty's Got More Blood. This is perhaps a shade lighter. That or cause I applied two rather thick coats of Posh. Hehe. Have a good week ahead!

Candy Lacquer: Candies and Sprinkles

Hi everyone! The weekend's coming! So hang in there! :D Anyway here's my very first candy lacquer polish and its swatches!! It's called Candies and Sprinkles! Pictures first, talk later.

I have layered it over China Glaze's Something Sweet. I really really do love how it's so colourful and glittery!! However, I think glitter application truly requires skill; of which I have yet to acquire. The formula was so packed with glitter it wouldn't apply properly. I had to dab it on and spread it. So, I think my manicure didn't turn out quite as I would have wanted it. Shall practise more!

By the way, if you are interested in getting this polish, mine's for sale at SGD $12 inclusive of mailing. Add $2.50 to make it registered.

Well then, till my next manicure! :)

love,
Jean

PS: YAY! It's finally up :D

The after effect of Gelish

So I got too lazy to soak off my Gelish that I decided to get it done by a manicurist. But! what a scheming cow the woman was. She said she wouldn't recommend that I apply any nail colour after gelish because it would damage my nails. She also said she'd apply a layer of nail treatment for me. I asked her if it would cost me anything and she said no. So I thought, wow. That's nice! Guess what? She bloody charge me the cost of an express manicure for the nail treatment coating!!!! And it wasn't even done properly!!!! Apparently, her filing and shaping of my nails was considered the express manicure.. and convincing me not to put any colour was so she could serve another customer who was waiting. I am very annoyed. She should have explained clearly. Never going to them again. Seriously.

Nevermind, moving on. My nails are yellow after having Gelish on for about 11days. Yes I know they last for 3 weeks, but it was already getting very ugly. :/ Here's a picture of my yellow nails.

And because it cost me $12 for this treatment coat, I shall stay away from colour for 3 days. Roar.

Nails Inc Sprinkles Collection Skittle Swatch!

Thought I'd post this skittle swatch of the super yummy looking Nails Inc Sprinkles Collection :)

They are all jam packed with glitters! Needless to say the formula can get a little thick after a few applications but it still worked out great! :) Would you consider getting any of these?

Past Swatches!

Okay I am so excited that I kinda know how to work this thing now so I'm going to post past swatches! I know the angle of my hand is not the same in every picture but I will work on it! So here goes!

OPI Texas Collection: Guy meets Gal Veston

This is a jelly polish so I needed 3 coats to make the nail line less visible. Formula wise, it was good :)

Next, a-england's Saint George. Super gorgeous holographic dark green. The first photo's in the shade.

This one's taken in the cab. Tried to capture the beauty of it when the sun shone in!

And lastly, OPI's Muppets Collection: Pepe's Purple Passion. Couldn't really capture the gold flakes in this polish. Also, these flakes weren't obvious in shade. Looks good in the sun though :)

Okay, that's all for now. Blogging on the bus is making me a little dizzy!

Love,
Jean

First post using my phone!

I hope this works! If it does, this is a swatch of my current mani. Its gelish and I got it done by a manicurist. But! Im regretting now cause I am ready to change the colour, except gelish typically last for 3 weeks and it's only been my 5th day :/ gah.

patience is a virtue and I'll work on that. Lol.
